The pioneer
Launched more than 40 years ago, the COLLECTION C task chair has become a modern classic, with world-class design, ergonomics, materials and functionality. It’s based on the pioneering active sitting technology MartinStoll developed at the end of the 1970s. It has all the design and technological features that are typical in MartinStoll chairs. It has a Synchrone™ mechanism that allows the seat and back to move in a synchronised pattern. The key feature is active support for the pelvis. When sitting upright, the pelvis is kept in a steady position undetectable to the user. The wedge-shaped seat prevents the pelvis from tilting backwards, keeping the spine in an optimal position. When the user leans back, the rear seat section is angled downward to give constant, supportive contact with the backrest.
